Investigating Fire as Fire Prevention

This article describes how Underwriters Laboratories has worked with partners Cobb County Fire, Cobb County Schools, Camp Fury Delaware and the Kids Summer Fire Academy camp to increase students' understanding (and therefore public understanding) of fire dynamics and fire safety. These partnerships have each incorporated the immersive STEM learning tool UL Xplorlabs: Fire Forensics, a module based on UL FSRI's ventilation and fire behavior research, to drive understanding and engagement.
